Contribution by Sikh Union to facilitate young women with sewing machines to develop their  skills

The Sikh Union team visited Napelgung in 2016 to review the needs of the local community.  One of the projects that SU decides to support was the community project.

Sikh Union continues to support further projects in Nepal with financial aid going towards Education and Community projects

 

 

 

 

  

 

Background

The Nepal project was launched on Friday 17th February 2016, several members were interviewed during a live transmission at the Sikh Channel TV studios, regarding the fundraising activities to support the rebuilding project of an earthquake damaged School in Nagarkot, Nepal as well as support for the Sikh Community in Sikhanpura. Chairman Palvinder Chana was accompanied by Bhovinder Nagra (Vice Chairman), Harbans Ghuman (Secretary), committee member Satwant Ghataore and Vinod Shrestha, who is the Secretary of the Nepalese Community of Nuneaton.
